A little rotation on a storm well ahead of the main event and is currently over on the Alabama/Georgia border.

Can't believe how bad the HRRR is on this event projecting cape. Finally home, my wife is going to be mad at me cause I'm not giving her attention tonight. Because of the weather ?
Winter time sun just doesn't have the heating like spring. Still barely hitting 60 degrees here

Some storms that need to be watched. These will be your tornado producers once that shear picks up I would imagine.
I wonder why this watch doesn’t include Birmingham? I guess they are thinking the threat there will be later…
Low level lapse rates aren’t that impressive, with at the most some 6-6.5C near that sfc boundary.
, I’m not saying this threat isn’t gonna happen but this setup isn’t really scaring me much, still definitely a threat tho, that cell that entered MS definitely is the most interesting one imo

WOW found that warm front!! Wrapped from Co Rd 55 and hwy 157 through and between Hartselle and Falkville 8 degree temperature spread within 2 miles.. crazy 68 on Townsend Rd. And 60 at tabernacle Rd and E Byrd Rd.

This area at the border is really spinning. Wonder if shear is starting to increase finally. If so it should spread to the southeast as we move through sunset.

Yep. The better shear is moving southeast. A few hours and these cells should start spinning like tops. Goes along with how the HRRR showed 
That one near verona has a good signature. I didn't see which radar you were using or tilt but I'd say that's good enough for a warning for todays environment.

That has been the one of the two sticking points on the size of the event, the warm layer aloft and the relative lack of forcing . You can clearly see the cap here.
