You sound sooooo familiar................... ?If you're lucky you'll be in the upper 80s. NWS is saying low 90s for your area Fri thru Mon. Hopefully it doesnt end up warmer than that.
Yeah .72 2/3 way through June is problematic, especially with this current airmass. Sure has felt nice but it has zapped every drop from storms last weekFeels like never. Impressive that we are likely to finish June below 2 here.
Doodooo dannnnnYou sound sooooo familiar................... ?
You have a decent chance tomorrow imoYeah .72 2/3 way through June is problematic, especially with this current airmass. Sure has felt nice but it has zapped every drop from storms last week
Your forecast says 86 is the best it can do83 for a high? I may have to find my coat ? I can't even remember the last day below 90 we had View attachment 119353

You might have the golden ticket this evening. I was kind of surprised to see spc push the mgnl this far south. Has the makings of another ripping dry ofb
Yeah maybe. Some models have it missing wide east, some dying out as it approaches and some jackpot, the ofb is certainly a concern. Although these MCSs almost always make it further then model forecast so we shall see. Seems a tad ahead of scheduleYou might have the golden ticket this evening. Yeah I've been doing the water deeply once a week method and by day 4-5 drought stress is showing I can't keep up unless I want to throw a few hundred $ at it. Might be the first time I abandon the sprinklers and just let it goWe need rain in JoCo. Grass is brown and I cannot remember the last time we got a measurable amount where I am. The storms we had this past week split around MBY and now grass is brown and crunchy. Can't water due to water pipe issues. Getting desperate.
Fake grass. You’re welcomeYeah I've been doing the water deeply once a week method and by day 4-5 drought stress is showing I can't keep up unless I want to throw a few hundred $ at it. Might be the first time I abandon the sprinklers and just let it go
The western edge looks to be building up more.I'm not feeling as confident about rain chances
The high ended up being 101. First 100+ for KCLT since June 2015101/57 in Charlotte.....or wait...Phoenix.
I agree. Had a high of 97 today. Hottest of the year so far. Glad we kept it under 100 also. Haven't hit 100 here since July of 2012 and hope to keep it that way but im sure there will be more chances this summer. Looking forward to the average temps and we need rain around here bad. Been getting brushed and skirted with all the storms lately. Yard is starting to turn brown and crunchy in spots. Need some rain bad but can't wait for the cooler temps.GSP high of 98, tying last weeks high of the highest temp since July 2016; managed to make it through the last two weeks without hitting 100 thankfully. No potential in site but I imagine there will be more chances this summer. Will be nice to get back to more average temps for awhile!
