the nugget is to get a wrap around backside squall Monday. Globals hint at it . High res and cams should start advertising it sunday pm , if its legit.
Models have been holding tough with the cold push now giving even most of wake county a chance at some disruptions
That heavy little finger better drag it’s filthy nails through wake county
Bro .. I live in Kingsport TN and ive missed so close on 3 huge setups this season.. its an absolute nightmare.. im missing this new storm by a whole 20 miles from me .Looks like the 9 millionth flizzard of the season on the back end with this one If it verifies. It’s honestly incredible how many dusting to half inch events I’ve had this season. Yesterday was the 9th event of at least a dusting so far this winter. Never had a winter with this many events and not get at least a 2 inch plus snow. View attachment 68819View attachment 68818
Wouldn’t shock me if that thing put down a 0.5+ Coating somewhere, no joke
Does part of you feel compelled to put Forsyth and Guilford on that .2 plus? Id think it would hang on a little more Battleground Ave northward. Here’s my first call map for this ice event, will adjust if I need to (likely will), I’m going the NAMs/CAMs route, better to be safe then sorryView attachment 69199
Got one for snow? Higher mountains will snow Saturday/Sunday morning before change over overHere’s my first call map for this ice event, will adjust if I need to (likely will), I’m going the NAMs/CAMs route, better to be safe then sorryView attachment 69199
I think that could be the most surprising part of the storm. Ground will be quite cold and could over performWouldn’t shock me if that thing put down a 0.5+ Coating somewhere, no joke
Yep, surface stays really cold up here. Soundings look more like sleet here but somewhere that has this cold BL and a little warmer mid levels might be in trouble.Wouldn’t shock me if that thing put down a 0.5+ Coating somewhere, no joke
How this goes will determine how our event goes .. so many possibility’sHRW-FV3 has a decent little band, temps are in the mid-upper 30s on it which I think is to warm, this is a good testView attachment 69214View attachment 69215![]()
Maybe Brad P. Knew exactly what he was talking about. He's been really good this year.Much less ice on the 3km View attachment 69250
