On another note: Seems like the GFS handles tropical ULL better than zonal ULL? Euro is the exact opposite.

Thanks man and yeah GFS progressive bias is really been harsh on it with that setup next week, and this year in general
 
I swear, if it’s not a winter weather event, don’t EVER underestimate a wedge. We just got to 65F (forecast high was 73) and the warm front has barely budged the last few hours
 
Northern part of the county we have been stuck at 62 all day with a solid breeze.
Here in eastern Union County were up to 69 with a forecast high of 76... one county south over the state line in Chesterfield just had a tornado warning about 30 minutes ago.
 
Just like 99% of the time this year all the action is south and east of the Triangle.

A Severe Thunderstorm Warning has been issued for parts of the Triangle until 8 PM. 60 mph wind gusts and 1" hail are possible. This storm has a history of producing hail and is moving NE at 35 mph. Includes parts of Wake, Lee, Chatham, Durham, Harnett & Orange Counties.
