September Sizzling Summer Segway

I thought all the action was south of the triangle ?‍♂️

And I thought action meant actual storms, not just rain. It's raining here, but no storms to speak of again.

It seems like "action" usually tends to mean the most severestest weather at my house, otherwise it was a bust.

But there was a tornado warning for Bladen County. Again, all the action was south and east of the Triangle.

Wow, coolest since 2013!

So that bottom Graphic for Precip says that 2019 was only the 42nd driest, and that 2017 was way drier at 59th driest.... I know this is taking the average of the whole state, but i'm curious to where the rain fell in NC last year that kept the average higher?

I only had 0.69" for the whole month of September last year and that was by far one of the driest I can remember.
