They usually try to keep the dates of the Heritage Classic, Winter Classic, and Stadium Series a month or so apart. Honestly, there was probably no perfect time given the location. It’s all a gamble.

The NHL hosts three outdoor games each season. The third one of the season will be at Carter-Finley Stadium on February 18.

That system around the 11th looks like a 3rd 33-38 and rain for us in Tupelo. ?? What ya gonna do??
The GFS/GEFS is going to fail miserably, . . again. Well, it does have the JMA on it's side.

Nah just go. Tonsils are temporary. Being a snow weenie is 4 life.
Tonsils come out Friday. So that’s a big “hell no” I believe.

I don't know. Shouldn't be that hard right now. For any potential outside the mountains right now I'd say a rain/snow mix is possible with little to no accumulation expected. They can always ramp up slowly every 12 hours if needed.

It's really easy. Take the 5-7 day forecast track and adjust it 200ish miles northwest, and then you'll be really close to the final solution.
All models/ensembles trending to that Climo footprint. Big surprise.
