Or it could be one of the greatest winters ever. All it takes is one big snow to make a great winter in the southeast.
Eh, this happened in 2014 after Halloween. It's not unheard of. It's just that the GFS is actually wrong.

If only it could bomb out sooner but stay far enough south that N GA, SC, and NC get a good hit but it's just a wish.

Don't worry. There's going to be another blizzard on the 30 year anniversary of the 93 Blizzard. I feel it coming.
Right now, I'm thinking Roanoke, VA and north in to West Virginia is the only area with real potential to chase. If this trends to snow in the foothills of NC, I might just chase it. Temps will be marginal so no travel issues. This would be a good chase scenario for me since I don't have a four wheel drive.

I realize that this weekend is the main topic of discussion, but I’m still keeping an eye on the forecast for the Stadium Series game in Raleigh on the 18th. A 50 degree rain would be a disaster.
It was a stupid call in the first place to do it in Mid February. I would've scheduled it a month earlier.
