Yeah that cell merger should be interesting. The outflow pressing down from the north might make this even more messy
That cell completely disrupted the rotation right before it got to Carthage. I’ll be shocked if there wasn’t a tornado otg before that.
All of those cells are trying to lose their linear characteristics and become more cellular certainly less than ideal if you are in the asheboro/sanford/lillington/southern pines/fayetteville areas
Man that looks like it's trying real hard to get some stronger rotation.
Just went underneath the hook of that near NCSU. Based on the radar position, that velocity scan looks more convergent than rotational. That said, I did see some slightly lowered clouds with a broad, weak spin about 10 min ago. Could strengthen/tighten up here.

Anyway wx wise. My Swamp (BY} got dumped on twice this afternoon. Wonder there arent natural sinkhokes in it. Never seen it this wet, for months now.
