Yeah that cell merger should be interesting. The outflow pressing down from the north might make this even more messyLets see what happens after it merges with that cell that popped just south of the rotation....

Just went underneath the hook of that near NCSU. Based on the radar position, that velocity scan looks more convergent than rotational. That said, I did see some slightly lowered clouds with a broad, weak spin about 10 min ago. Could strengthen/tighten up here.Raleigh supercell View attachment 80759View attachment 80760

Any tornado activity should be south east of town now barreling towards Bailey area ! Looks like it’s by middlesex . Time to head east!
I don’t know it’s all just radar indicated . I’m calling my peoples who stay around that area . Nothing yet from them.Confirmed otg?
Meh gust to 20 and about a half inch of rain. Looks like the hail cores missed in both directions@SD what's that cell like over you? Looking nasty
Still thundering where I’m at, I went outside in the middle of it all and danced in the rain and the ankle deep water . All it takes is a minute of that heavy rain , it’s almost instantaneous really and my yard is more than ankle deep in water .If there was more low level shear in the Carolinas today, it would have been a little tornado outbreak, but thank goodness we have mostly lucked out with mid level rotating supercells with structure wind and hail, 00z hrrr nailed it
