Heads up! The severe storm that has a history of producing hail is going to be moving into Wake County soon and eventually tracking toward Apex.

Wonder if it can last this far.

A new t-storm warning issued a little bit north of the other warning in place. Hail likely in the area circled. Folks in western Wake Co. need to take cover.

Wouldn't surprise me if this thing is riding some type of wedge boundary

The long straight hodograph strikes again.... these Hodographs always bring terrible thermodynamics to life with large hail often being the result, good example was the supercell trio this past April
