This is the ineptness we are dealing with in GA. I wish this wasn't our reality.

Religious services are now banned here. Actually, just about all religious institutions had already closed on their own even before the ban so as to do their part in stopping the spread. Online is being utilized when possible.

Yes, this is why I hate the MSM. Dr. Fauci himself has come out and said the MSM is intentionally misleading people on this and even said Trump has listened to everything he has advised. That's great news IMO.

compared to *checks notes* every other country who knows it's a bigger priority to mandate "shelter in place" or some sort of lockdown in order to eradicate the virus and not have people die, than to sacrifice said people for the economy. We're not even close to the duration we should be adhering to.

They can't agree on that but it looks like they are going to need more like six trillion. 4 trillion for banks and the rest to be split among everyone else. That trillion dollar deficit from last year will seem like a surplus after this year.

We need real talk from our leaders, not this drivel meant to boost the markets....even if it works and the market goes up 4-5k this week, next week when 1,000 Americans are dying from C-19 every day and most states are in total lockdown its going to crash again...Trump was right when he said there was a light at the end of the tunnel.....to bad its the light on the train that is headed right at us.

In regards to opening everything back up and letting the economy run at the end of the 15 day period.
We haven't even closed it yet. We don't even have full testing capabilities yet.
Great Britain just shut down their entire country. Several others have as well. Wuhan is still locked down.
Hate to break it to people but this is just the beginning. The Trump 'base' has mostly not felt real significant pain from this yet. Look at most of the flyover states that vote Red and the majority of the Southeast. They have very few cases when compared to some of the larger coastal cities.
If you open everything before we get caught up with testing, and get some actual clinical trial results from treatment, all you are going to see on TV is nurses and doctors begging people to stay home as hospitals become overrun. I hate to think that is what it's going to take before some Americans, who feel so entitled that this can't to happen us, finally wake up.
I'll try to leave on a positive note. Here is another possible treatment that is effective in treating Covid-19.

Watching the Governor of Maryland (Republican) earlier made me realize we are pretty F'ed having Kemp as our Gov in GA.
1. He came across as an intellectual with a full grasp of the severity of the situation. Not sounding like a confused inbreed lost in the moment.
2. He clearly communicated the statistical impact of C-19 increasing and what their state can handle.
3. Gave specific reasons on the importance of why everyone should STAY HOME and STAY AWAY FROM EACH OTHER.
4. Gave clear best practices on social distancing techniques when people do have to go to work (essential) or the store.
5. Set specific timeline and guide for closures, schools, etc. When additional reviews will take place.

I’m a Trump supporter. But, this is just too funny not to share.

Correct. Education does not show how smart you are unlike what some think on here. It is a tool for a better life and shows hard work and determination just like other tools can show that.

Education is a door ... if you have it there are 2 choices ... walk through it and grasp what's on the other side, or stare at it and pompously say (as though it is some big discovery), "It's a door" ...
(though some of the most "educated" folks I know never got past 9th grade ... and they open and go through and hold open a bunch of doors) ...
