33° this morning, southern SC. maybe we get to freezing tomorrow morning?
It does seem like we have a ways to go after this cold blast next week. Hopefully we will get in a more favorable pattern for winter weather in the mid south and south east. This isn't going to be the coldest pattern in the world by any means as North America becomes flooded w/ mild, Pacific air but I'll certainly take it.

I know! It's my wife! I've wanted to buy some property in Northern Greenville County for years - my temps would be 10 degrees cooler!Need to move further from the city! I’ve checked 10 Wunderground stations around here to verify and they all have a reading of at least 30 degrees sometime last night early this morning
Still looks like November will be mostly below normal .. near the end could have some above average days but definitely going to finish November below average60s/40s and 50s after next Wednesday, for the next 10+ days! Our chance for BN November, is disappearing quickly
It’s like a hot pacific burp flooding North America. Looking at 2m anoms, the SE stays relatively normal compared to the rest of the country. I doubt it’s enough to take us AN. December though, that’s a whole different beast! +8 or bust!60s/40s and 50s after next Wednesday, for the next 10+ days! Our chance for BN November, is disappearing quickly
FWIW MBY gets Nam'd in Alamance county including the NW triangle. There is still a chance for some anafront flurries.![]()

Urban heat island ain’t no joke.Wake County got skipped on the NAM, that'll probably verify.

Plenty time to get my snow, but I wouldn't mind seeing little action from the severe weather departmentDecember going torch afraid ... from what s goin on pacific region ... a lot to workout... but think mid January into February we can score

Meteorological Winter starts in 23 days!.The good thing is it’s only November, winter doesn’t start until December 21st and we don’t usually see snow until after New Years. We good.

Euro and Gefs are in line together with this
I'll take the under on that bet.... This year will not have a +8 December. It’s like a hot pacific burp flooding North America. Since this is the only thing going for us, I'm watching and alert lol.Slightly slower frontal boundary plus optimal diurnal timing leads to snow breaking out across central MS into northern AL Tue morning.

Really any snow before January in the southeast is bonus snow. Our best shot at snow is usually the 2nd week of January through mid to late February. I’m not saying we can’t get snow before or after these dates but it does seem to be the prime time for southeast snow most years. Why the negativity of no snow in November? Was anyone really expecting snow in November? December is the month to start watching anything before that’s a bonus.
