From a high end Cat 4, low end Cat5 to a TS in 24 hr's? Not to mention they have it srengthening right before? That's an awful lot of energy to dissipate that quickly. Where in the hell is that energy going? It's sure not in the form of Precip from some of the hydrologic forecasts.Looks good, NHC keeps weakening it sooner and sooner now a tropical storm Before even getting to Georgia

Into powerful winds and gusts up throughout GA and SC.From a high end Cat 4, low end Cat5 to a TS in 24 hr's? Not to mention they have it srengthening right before? That's an awful lot of energy to dissipate that quickly. Where in the hell is that energy going?
Your right, assuming it does ride up the spine, i dont buy the decrease in wind speed so sudden. From a high end Cat 4, low end Cat5 to a TS in 24 hr's? The interaction with SW I can see that but that's going to be some isane energy transfer. That could produce some crazy winds in the mountains if that transpires.Into powerful winds and gusts up throughout GA and SC.

Thats making more sense that what they've been outputtingRain totals ramped up especially in east GA.

Yes the mountains, problem is there is a false narrative going around that hurricane force winds will reach north Georgia . I just don't see it unless your at a higj elevation like you mentionedThe interaction with SW I can see that but that's going to be some isane energy transfer. I'm not hearing anything except for gusts possible per the maps posted by many. If you trust Ryan Maue, he says that there could be hurricane force gusts up in Georgia.Yes the mountains, problem is there is a false narrative going around that hurricane force winds will reach north Georgia .
