There's a lot of moderate-deep popcorn convection going off just to the southeast of Irma atm, likely indicative of the instability fueled by warmer SSTs that's prevalent just ahead. We should finally see this tropical cyclone intensify in earnest and progressively begin to emerge out of its current vortcane state as a result once it gets past 45 degrees west...
