The h5 pattern with the cut off is a nod to the euro

It may come close to the SE/MAtl on this run.I don't think this is OTS... A hair west and it looks like bombs away NE. There you go Storm, the ideal path .
Webb - That is soooo true, and so well said ...yep the westerlies are usually not deep enough at this time of the year to support a full scale trough like that for long, if it digs too deep, a cut-off is bound to show up. Still a ways to go however...
Nah it's going to get channeled between the atlantic ridge and cutoff looks like a NE hit. I can't see the trough missing it and nothing to bring it westIf this doesn't start curving soon, here comes your rain SD.
Yep, here comes a NE devastator. It may come close to the SE/MAtl on this run.
EDIT: Starting to get pulled in by the E. US cutoff by hr 210.
Agreed. The weakening of the western ridge, retreating of the jet to the US/Can border, cutoff low and potential westward expanding atlantic ridge opens the door for a US hityep the westerlies are usually not deep enough at this time of the year to support a full scale trough like that for long, if it digs too deep, a cut-off is bound to show up. Still a ways to go however...
Congrats Delmarva!Nah it's going to get channeled between the atlantic ridge and cutoff looks like a NE hit. I can't see the trough missing it and nothing to bring it west

Not sure they are gonna like this run like they do when they get a model run showing 3 ft of snow!Oh great, now we can start seeing the NE hype
