Looks like it’s picking up that band we’re waiting on.Even though it's the GFS, kind of crazy to see it put a lollipop over my area. Trying to put down nearly 6 inches. Ofc, I don't think it's right.

Over a inch of sleet, just like the good old days.
Lol, NWS HUN just put us under a Winter Storm Warning. Seems to be drying and warming here pretty well. Sure, maybe for the three mountains in the county.

I’m in New Market and it’s still snowing. I wonder how the transition wil set up throughout the day

31.3 and snow coming down at a good clip. Dusting on grass but nothing on roads yet. I’d imagine roads are going to start getting messy soon.

HRRR has me at 3 so I think the GFS is a bit gungho...I'd love for it to be proven right though

Freezing rain becoming dominate right now in Apex NC .. tried to go move my car but realized I can’t everything is coated with a layer of ice .. still mixed with some sleet but mostly rain .. 29 degrees

It's mindboggling that NE GA is now struggling to get all snow while areas to the southwest are getting snow. Crazy system.
Sleet is coming down really good still. Doesn’t look like we’ve had any ZR yet. About to take a Jeb Walk around.

heavy sleet bands inbound into the Greenville SC metro
It will accumulate more efficiently than a heavy rain, but it will still take much longer to build up an accrual. Right now my trees have almost a .1” of accrual, and that’s been from about 20 minutes of legitimate ZR earlier, but mostly from the mist that has been mixed with the sleet… it would take a while for freezing drizzle to build up to higher than a .25”

Temp/DP stable at 19.9/17.8. Moderate sleet. Supposedly suppose to reach around 32 by early evening. We’ll see. Temp hasn’t budged much since around 8:00 AM.
