i had 7.5 inches of snow on both snow boards when it flipped to sleet.....added another 1/2 inch of sleet snow mix since then !!!!

And finally after an 8 hour 34 degree rain it is snowing in Loganville!
Been snowing since 9am here in West Paulding some lighter periods here and there but already got about dusting on ground and big flakes falling...hopeful for next 4-5 hours getting into some heavy bands and stack on

Down to 33! Baby steps...
Radar very supportive of freezing drizzle soon coming into Charlotte metro before spreading into the mountains. Thankfully a dry slot is scene but by then most will have a thin layer of ice. 
Sleet really coming down in apex … wondering when freezing rain takes over ? Ground is now covered including the road with sleet!

Flipped to snow maybe 15-20 mins ago in Woodstock, 32.9F. Only snowing lightly right now but the good news is it seems to be staying snow in the lighter returns.

Definitely. I’m at 32.1 but under light returns and it mostly looks like rain maybe sleet. Rooftops are white. Hopefully as the cooler air keeps pushing in we stay snow even under light returns.
I’m thinking upstate gets light freezing rain for next 6 or so hours?
Back side snow looks good for Georgia low elevations and NC mountains. But other than that wind snow it won’t amount to much E of the mtns in NC.

Ripping in Alpharetta. Kids are happy. I sleep 3 hours a night for a week just to see them smile. If these rates keep up, we’ve got a chance at a 2 incher.

Sleeting pretty hard right now in SW Durham. Roads covered. Hopefully this keeps up and holds the ZR at bay. We started off as snow, but I don’t think that lasted very long.

RAH increased my point forecast to 2”-4” of snow. They’ve alternated between 1”-3” to 2”-4” to 1”-3” to 2”-4” for the last two days.
Currently at 19.9/16.9 with light sleet with some flakes mixed in.

NAM 3km still wants to put down .4 of freezing rain from 11-2 … let’s see how that works out .. if that did happen on top of all of this .. good luck Charlie
