Holy negative tilt. Precip shield is really expanding with the next wave.Those brighter bands in NE GA are heavy snow! This is sort of unbelievable lol

Right around 2.5 inches heavy stuff temp still 32. If it could of dropped to upper 20s I think we have more but a pretty good snow event roads are covered. Probably turn to sleet in a hour or so. But I’ve been up all night

Sheesh getting sleet and freezing rain reports to my south already .. if we just go straight into freezing rain and ice that quickly .. many maps are going to bust low on ice here

This snow has been wierd, high ratio but small snowflakes, but a lot of them
Hoping with heaver returns we can hold snow for just a little bit (an hour or two). Notice the snow building back south into Harnett County as it gets heavier. Just temporary, but maybe it slows the advancement north some.
