Wasn’t this last storm a cutter that trended south? The 18z FV3 is very interesting. After the big possible phaser next week, it repeats the same senario almost twice more. Once more about three days later and again near Christmas. If this becomes the theme as it gets colder again, we wont make it.
Yes it was and if I recall, the GFS / FV3 was the first to pick up on it.Wasn’t this last storm a cutter that trended south?
Yeah but, those temps won't be cooking if there was a phase. #BringOnThePhaseHoly tamolie those temps are cooking! But I like where the end of the run goes.
Lock it up !!! We should start a thread for you

Thanks! I hope we get a good one this winter!Hopefully southern Wake County gets a nice winter storm soon. You guys are due. Southeastern Wake has probably received less than half of the snowfall that Northwestern Wake has in the past few years. I'm not expecting anything for the next 2-3 weeks but maybe you'll get another chance in January.
Could Oklahoma have 2 nam bust in a week. Lol
If the NAM is still showing this tomorrow I am starting a storm thread !I was thinking the same thing lol

I think @Brent is going to like the fvs-gfs snow map. Lol View attachment 9066
Posted at the same time. lol great minds think alike.View attachment 9068 View attachment 9067 Hmmm could it finally be a winter storm for us in the deep South
Amen to that... I'm putting my chips in around that period I mean we have to finally score big on that period... Also I still think we have a chance at some snow this weekend from a upper level low... Models have been consistently showing a upper level low swing through from Texas through AlabamaPosted at the same time. lol great minds think alike.
Brent that upper level low is going to bring you the goods Friday don't worry...that Christmas timeframe already looking spicy
Euro keeps the snow SW of me Friday![]()
Yup, that's the one! It needs to track way south than that though. If it does, the deep south is in business for a big snow storm.View attachment 9068 View attachment 9067 Hmmm could it finally be a winter storm for us in the deep South

Right they were caught off guard... Maybe we can get caught off guard with the upper level low toocold cores are so tricky its usually either boom or bust
But nobody expected Lubbock to get 10 inches and look what happened lol

I agree... I think if we all can get a massive snowstorm from Texas through Georgia that lays down 10 to 20 inches of snow we all will be satisfiedYup, that's the one! It needs to track way south than that though. If it does, the deep south is in business for a big snow storm.
I'm in Tuscaloosa county so I agreeTHIS NEEDS TO SHIFT FURTHER SOUTH SO US SHELBY CO ALABAMA FOLKS CAN GET IN ON THE ACTION
Man I know they probably is pissed from that loljust ask OKC how their two feet of snow is going![]()

Looks like cold chasing rain. Add a northwest trend to that and it will just be another cold rain for most of us.View attachment 9068 View attachment 9067 Hmmm could it finally be a winter storm for us in the deep South
