I missed that map, but there are plenty of cold days east of the mountains though. It will stay cold in the CAD areas if that 1054 high pressure stays in SE Canada.
If we can get winter precip I do like it. If it is not going to snow, 1 major cold snap is enough, and we got that before Christmas.
So they work for Dominion?I think Shane and Charlie are taking the money raised to tinker with it, if enough, they are about to make dreams come true, if not, then dreams will be crushed. Lol
Or Germany cancelled it to save on CO2 emissions. Hey, just open a window and see what the weather is like before walking to work, you peons, they say.Euro must be showing a huge winter storm, so big it can't handle it and crashed.
Let the MJO actually move to phase 4 in early Feb and it's all over but the crying then. There’s the warm maps y’all are looking for, it eventually was gonna show up View attachment 131155
In wish I really knew programming I would create a huge cold biased model and put it behind a pay wall so all thy suckers would pay upI think Shane and Charlie are taking the money raised to tinker with it, if enough, they are about to make dreams come true, if not, then dreams will be crushed. Lol

As recorded officially at the airport, yes. The northern burbs got a significant event in 2020.When was the last significant winter weather event for Atlanta ? Was it January 2018 ?
So basically 5 years without much of anything in Atlanta. Pretty sad.As recorded officially at the airport, yes. The northern burbs got a significant event in 2020.
Hence the birth of "NoSnowATL". The mid 90's through the early 2000's was the worst. 2009 through 2018 was ok, though. I'm seriously considering retiring to a cabin in the TN mountains, though, if I live long enough to retire. So basically 5 years without much of anything in Atlanta. Pretty sad.
I swear you'd have better luck seeing snow in a city with warmer winters like Dallas. Atlanta is further north, higher in elevation, and colder in winter yet somehow Dallas seems to get more snow. Go figure.Hence the birth of "NoSnowATL". The mid 90's through the early 2000's was the worst. 2009 through 2018 was ok, though. That's why even seeing flurries is crazy exciting in Atlanta! We are in a sub-tropical climate most of the year.I swear you'd have better luck seeing snow in a city with warmer winters like Dallas. I blame the Southeast Ridge most of the time. It's a nightmare for snowlovers in the southeast. But seriously, it shouldn't be THAT difficult to get at least a dusting of snow every winter. That's why even seeing flurries is crazy exciting in Atlanta! It was the storm of the century so don't waste your time studying it. It won't happen again in our lifetime so when JB brings it up ignore him! Just kidding it was a triple phase just at the right time for MOST of the SE. I'm sure the RDU crowd never wants to see that againI was born in 1990 and obviously don’t remember much about the blizzard of 93. What was the setup during that storm?
And what would it take for this to happen again lol
I'm wishing they never fixed the issues with the Euro. I know it's probably right about the SE ridge on roids but man, I hate to be reminded of it. Severe outbreak next week for all of the south if it holds.
All the RDU folks to first jump off a building. And what would it take for this to happen again lol
WelpDamn I hope our coldest month doesn't torch
It needed to have tracked just 50 or so miles farther SE to get more of us in it. CAD would have been a bigger factor too if it had occurred in January or February instead of March. We only got about 2 inches out of it here.It was the storm of the century so don't waste your time studying it. It won't happen again in our lifetime so when JB brings it up ignore him! That would be nice. And also In January, not March.Need another 1993 about 100 miles east
I don't know how many times or different ways ways to break this; if it is not cold it will NEVER snow. Let me know how many 70 degree snows you've had and I'll reconsider my stance. If we can get winter precip I do like it. +6 here, bout where it will end up to. Dec ended - 3Welp
