I’ve been saving quotations of yours because a lot of what you say contradicts . I thought you enjoy that, that’s what we were having prior to the cool down anyways . Anyways added to the big confusing list of quotations . When I have enough I’ll quote them all to show all the contradictions .

Would probably not be us, but someone could possibly get a derecho out of this if the 500mb flow set up right. My money would be on the area from ND and SD, across the Great Lakes and then down towards NYC.

Everyone's "favorite" lol, the all-knowing Maxar, says in this morning's 15 day forecast that these are the hottest days for selected cities as the SE is hotter today:

KATL: 95 on 8/2
KRDU: 95 on 7/31 and 8/4
Memphis: 97 on 7/31 and 8/2
KDFW: 101 on 7/25-8, 8/1-2

Anyone want to do an over or under vs these forecasts for the hottest during the period through 8/4?

I bet KATL doesn't get any higher than 93F, if that even.

Yea you can top out 89 into low-mid 90s. Its irrelevant with the High DP/ Swamp air. Mid July into 3rd week of August is always very uncomfortable. Start crawling back down second half August into Sept. DPs really dive/disappear by mid Sept up here and you lose all the summer grass/crab grass at warp speed.
