Is there a convergence going on in the Western Piedmont/Sandhills?
As you can see, might not be for long. The SE really knows how to dodge the heat this year ?

Don’t see any record breaking heat or heatwaves anytime soonAs you can see, might not be for long.
We will, at some point, have to deal with downslope and dry heat.Don’t see any record breaking heat or heatwaves anytime soon

If the Euro weeklies are right, we won't for the rest of the summerDon’t see any record breaking heat or heatwaves anytime soon
Dang, North America has been hot. Wonder what Europe and Asia are dealing with...below normal? The SE to the west: hey not us… y’all be safe though ✌?View attachment 86511

I'll take the tradeoffs. I can deal with warmer overnights in exchange for cooler daytime highs. That also implies that its very humid though. Urgh, can't win.And the SE maximum temp records are for LOW maxes (Orlando and Miami). I can't find any high maxes.
Texas was due some cooler weather this summer.Sure why not

You look at this and you think it's time to grab the jackets in Dallas. Nope. Still going to be HOT with temps in the upper 80s and low 90s with nighttime lows in the 70s.Sure why not

Per my parents Zebulon has been racking it up with these pop up showers last few days. ZEWtown baby.
Probably because Atlanta has gotten more rain and pop up thunderstorms this whole summer more than Charlotte.Lol. How is Charlotte 4 degrees warmer than Atlanta ? Charlotte hotter than Montgomery and Columbia ?
I would say Charlotte's closer to the Bermuda high than Atlanta also.Atlanta is also much further south so I would think elevation difference wouldn't matter given that fact.
