Looks like not everyone is having a good rain season this summer. The drought monitor has areas of abnormally dry. Others are doing well. Hit or miss I guess.

I know its hot and humid, but at least its not that hazy variety where you can't see the cumulus clouds. There is a nice clear contrast here from blue sky to cumulus clouds. Its been that way most of summer. More often than not, its stagnant hazy heat with no pronounced sky to look at.
