I figured 18 thousand replies in the fall/winter thread was plenty. Plus, its meteorological spring! Do all your complaining about how hot it is, how cold it is, how there's no storms, how there's too many storms, all of it. Have at it.

It does not look good this summer, RDU will break it record number of 90 degree days. Heres FAY, CAE, and RDU record 90 degree day number and my prediction.

RECORD PRED
RDU 91 (2010) 109
FAY 130 (1941) 139
CAE 116 (2010) 133
CLT 88 (1954) 99

Fayetteville is really high, Raleigh had 88 that year in 1941. Augusta has had 126 90 degree days before so FAYs record is possible.

It'll be hard to break those unless we start piling up 90s in May

Fayetteville was piling them on in April and October in 1941. Id have to say 1941 is the longest summer ever, even for RDU, very warm April, warmest or second warmest october etc. Long summer!
