It'll be hard to break those unless we start piling up 90s in May
Fayetteville was piling them on in April and October in 1941. Id have to say 1941 is the longest summer ever, even for RDU, very warm April, warmest or second warmest october etc. Long summer!

Awwwww shoot ! I just felt a pain in my left testicle! It’s a sign of summer rainfall , it screams nothing but pain for some !

CLT looks rough with 3 inches total between JJA. My god, start filling up gallons!

RDU is terrifying , 24 inches of rain between JJA . My god get the southernwx floaties !

May I suggest a new southernwx weather model ? It involves bojangles biscuits and chicken , a giant wheel we spin complete wit weenie scenarios . Toss the biscuit and chicken on to the wheel and do the Hokie pokie a few times , wait for everything to settle and wherever the biscuits and chicken land is the weather for the day in question . Going to be tough to make this without birdman.

It's actually insane how close we've come back to that weenie CMC run from several days ago w/ our northern stream s/w diving into IL/WI, with only very minor differences at 500mb.

We put all the pieces in about the right place, a little stronger upper low and less amped northern stream encourages better phasing/interactions, and that's the difference between cold & dry vs snowstorm in eastern NC.

It does not look good this summer, RDU will break it record number of 90 degree days. Heres FAY, CAE, and RDU record 90 degree day number and my prediction.

RECORD PRED
RDU 91 (2010) 109
FAY 130 (1941) 139
CAE 116 (2010) 133
CLT 88 (1954) 99

Fayetteville is really high, Raleigh had 88 that year in 1941. Augusta has had 126 90 degree days before so FAYs record is possible.
Blah blah blah..just like everybody was saying record number of warm days this winter

This winter has proved that
1. Ice storms don’t go past GSO anymore
2. When Texas snows it doesn’t work out for areas farther east no more
3. -NAOs make your life miserable
4. Legit cold never dumps in the east
5. Now NW trends don’t work when they normally use to

We will have 20+ 90 degree days and 5 100 degree days this summer. We will roast ??
