That smells like a localized Convective burst type of day, 7C mid level lapse rates, weak elevated instability.

My problem tho is the soundings outside of the deepest returns (light stuff) DGZs are struggling/not moist, that smells like sleet/graupel in the lighter stuff with snow in the heavier stuff, it’s basically a luck setup if you get under a yellow band, I’m thinking about making another map if it does continue to show up

It looks like it’s kinda similar to February 2013... maybe a little more scattered rather than a solid line. Surface temperatures look to be in the mid 30s so maybe we can squeeze out a little suprise

Here’s the latest for middle Tennessee’s winter weather tonight into Monday. So glad I don’t live in the city of Nashville itself. That heat Island always gets the shaft. The highland rim and points east always do so much better with snow.

Honestly it seems like it really popped up on 18z models (ULL vs just breaking containment), if stays the same then they’ll probably start mentioning it, hopefully this stays on models
