You are young. Older people don't like shoveling snow. Plus you risk injury by walking outside if it's icy.Agreed. Give me all the cold and snow. I don't know why people hate it when probably 80 percent or more of the year has highs above 55 and 10-20 percent or more depending on location is 90+
dude, there hasn’t been a legit snow in nearly 2-3 years in many areas across the SE, it’s been nearly 2 years here, WE WANT SNOWYou are young. Older people don't like shoveling snow. Plus you risk injury by walking outside if it's icy.
Stay home we are all in this togetherYou are young. Older people don't like shoveling snow. Plus you risk injury by walking outside if it's icy.

Dude, relax, we all hope for at least average snowfall each year. Outside of the mountains, and barring a massive eruption of volcanoes, we aren't going to see 30" of snow and temps below 30 for highs for days on end. Of course, 2020 is cursed, so maybe in December! Bring it on!You are young. Older people don't like shoveling snow. Plus you risk injury by walking outside if it's icy.
7 years since CAE had a legit snow! It has to snow there again at some point right?dude, there hasn’t been a legit snow in nearly 2-3 years in many areas across the SE, it’s been nearly 2 years here, WE WANT SNOW
I was actually hesitant to join this forum. Used to stalk americanwx and they weren’t too kind to anyone who was different.... so they didn’t exist . Here seemed fine though, no one is bothered ! I had never seen grown men behave like 4 year olds who didn’t get what they wanted in the toy store. Americanwx is nuts .Dont mess with the snow weenies its personal!!!
Dude. This is the southeast US. We don't get feets of snow and shovel daily. Heck, most folks in this forum don't even own a snow shovel. We aren't New England or the Great Lakes. You are young. Older people don't like shoveling snow. Plus you risk injury by walking outside if it's icy.
Augusta GA and Columbia SC hasn't had a ground covering winter event in over 7 1/2 years.dude, there hasn’t been a legit snow in nearly 2-3 years in many areas across the SE, it’s been nearly 2 years here, WE WANT SNOW

I’m not very familiar with Augusta, but I personally can’t remember Columbia ever going this long without a measurable snow. Even back in the early 90s when Charlotte went from December 1989 to March 1993 without a snowfall of an inch or more, Columbia lucked out a couple times on southern sliders. That’s something I mentioned in a post the other day... the last true southern slider that I can remember was January 2014 (the storm that caused the snowjam in Atlanta)I wonder what each location's longest drought is. It would be interesting to see if this was a normal occurrence or an unusual length of time with no snow.
Is Virginia considered the SE ? I personally consider it the Mid Atlantic and i don't consider KY the SE either.Dude. This is the southeast US. We don't get feets of snow and shovel daily. Heck, most folks in this forum don't even own a snow shovel. We aren't New England or the Great Lakes.
I can’t wait for weeks of cold and snow !Agreed. Give me all the cold and snow. I don't know why people hate it when probably 80 percent or more of the year has highs above 55 and 10-20 percent or more depending on location is 90+
Don't start this please, thanksIs Virginia considered the SE ? I personally consider it the Mid Atlantic and i don't consider KY the SE either.
I can debunk this myth! As a resident of Dubuque, the average age of people here is 103You are young. Older people don't like shoveling snow. Plus you risk injury by walking outside if it's icy.
But do the people there actually like the cold and snow ?I can debunk this myth! As a resident of Dubuque, the average age of people here is 103
If not, they can move! Just as easily as I moved to be in the cold and snowBut do the people there actually like the cold and snow ?
Who cares. I mean, honestly? If it snows and you know an old person needs help, go help them. But do the people there actually like the cold and snow ?
What's your point? Roll Tide...???Is Virginia considered the SE ? I personally consider it the Mid Atlantic and i don't consider KY the SE either.
Exactly. Florida is a great place for them.If not, they can move! Just as easily as I moved to be in the cold and snow
Thank you. I was told southern VA was either southeast or mid atlantic. I'm not sure why Kentucky was mentioned.Don't start this please, thanks
Everyone is welcome here as said before I would be cool with having more from other regionsThank you. I was told southern VA was either southeast or mid atlantic. I'm not sure why Kentucky was mentioned.
I don’t think less pollution has anything to do with it. We are still emitting co2 and it’s not like even if we stopped it would mean rapid cooling.I have the biggest headache in this thread it’s not sizzling september was 2019 I am cold ass heat Is on done burned the dust off the filter many days ago omg this is Fridged September 2020 due to COVID less travel clean air

I asked that a couple years ago on american (regarding CAE) and was told of a stretch that was on the order of 14 or 15 years without measurable snowfall a few decades back but i can't remember the specifics. I think they went much of the 90s without as well.I wonder what each location's longest drought is. It would be interesting to see if this was a normal occurrence or an unusual length of time with no snow.
It ain’t much, but the SPC did put out a marginal risk for Friday.Nam looks much more bullish with that severe setup, looks a bit like something from the spring with some EML advection, nice θe gradient along a warm front, steep mid level LRs, nice deep layer and low level shear, could be some hail in this type of setup View attachment 49255View attachment 49256View attachment 49258View attachment 49257
Dang for only 5 days out that is a major changes compared to other models. Fear the NW trend?Euro would be a high end severe weather type look, it digs that trough early to our west allowing a warm sector to develop over the SE, it’s the only solution but woah, this is some stuff that rivals Easter Sunday, but more of a QLCS look View attachment 49270View attachment 49271View attachment 49272View attachment 49273
Even Oklahoma might see something on Sunday if the Euro is right. I had written this cold front off as nothing more then a nice cool off before but now the Euro has my interest piqued.Dang for only 5 days out that is a major changes compared to other models. Fear the NW trend?
