I went to the fuel concert at goldstrike casino in tunica ms last night and the music was great and noise was unreal??

In fairness we’ve had 4 La Niña winters during that timeframe in which we shouldn’t expect much in February.

Yeah, but we've also had an El Nino that for reasons acted like a Nina. Februarys have been fire for a minute. I too am very skeptical of a cold February.

I’m excited to see the Nina return next winter! The 3 in a row , were the first 3 winters in iowa for me and all had 48” or better totals! This winter is looking sus on anything close to that

I’m old too! (48) concerts ain’t as fun as they used to be! Think I’m going to try to go to Avenged Sevenfold, Journey, and possibly Sevendust concerts coming around here this spring! Maybe some Green Day, and Staind.
We shall see!

Oh they happen here too. Just in the first half of the month usually. But it has been a long time. March 93 was mid month and March 09 was like around the 1st week. Matter of fact Panovich says March 2nd is the snowiest calendar day in Charlotte. I can't remember much after mid month in my lifetim though. Oh but let's not forget March 1960 ???

Yes for whatever reason March 1 is good storm day for Charlotte. Off the top of my head I know that it’s had significant snowfalls in Charlotte in 1942,1960, 1980, and 2009.
