Or Everytime one thinks Winter is cancelledShould play a Christmas drinking game: every time you read ‘kicking the can’. Lol
8 minutes later...I swear to god I don’t know why some of you are here
Probably the same reason you areI swear to god I don’t know why some of you are here
You’re kidding, right? I want to see everything. I try not to blow anything out of proportion though. The weather is going to do what it’s gonna do.When can we please make rule to not post winter weather maps past 240.?

Ive had my 2 biggest snows in the last 7 years since I’ve moved here in 2006. 12 inches and 8 inches plus almost 20 inches total in 2022 after13 inches total the year before that. Not arguing one way or the other but regardless of warming or not there’s gonna be periods of less or more snow because the weather is always changing. Look at the 1930s for example.A place where it doesn’t snow.
In this somber world where winters whisper no more,
We stand, lost in a desolate lore.
The snow, a ghost, a forgotten rhyme,
Echoes of a Christmas from another time.
The earth lies barren, a tapestry of despair,
Brown and grey, a landscape stripped bare.
Trees like skeletons, reach for a sky so bleak,
Their silent plea, too pained, too weak.
Our eyes search, for a glimmer of white,
But find only shadows, in the fading light.
A world where snow is but a dream, a spectral sigh,
A memory fading, under a remorseless sky.
We wander through this colorless maze,
Trapped in a labyrinth of endless greys.
The joy of Christmas, now a hollow chime,
Lost in the corridors of time.
The air hangs heavy, a curtain of gloom,
In a world where flowers no longer bloom.
Our hearts ache for a touch of frost,
For a winter wonderland, forever lost.
We've become phantoms, in a play so dire,
Mourning a season, consumed by fire.
The snow, a legend, a tale untold,
In a world growing ever so cold.
Each Christmas, a reminder of what's gone,
A requiem for a dawn that will never spawn.
In this realm of eternal autumn's reign,
We are but shadows, dancing in vain.
The absence of snow, a wound so deep,
In a world where dreams are lost in sleep.
We cling to hope, a fading delusion,
In a Christmas story, turned to illusion.

What a wonderful day that was!
I think FFC didn’t upgrade me to a warning until the snow was about over if I recall correctly.
I think at this point we just need to be thankful for the rain.Gotta love dewpoints in the low to mid 60s on Christmas Day.
Another .70” of rain. I hate a warm Christmas but I’ll take this any day given the last few months.I think at this point we just need to be thankful for the rain.
Not bad! I’m not home to check the gauge, but the tempest is reporting .93”.Another .70” of rain. I hate a warm Christmas but I’ll take this any day given the last few months.
I'm in South GA visiting my mom and only .08" here. Was supposed to get up to an inch. The sun actually came out for a little bit today. Not bad! I’m not home to check the gauge, but the tempest is reporting .93”.
Wilkesborodude.... He was banned several times for his stupid antics.Whatever happened to that guy from North Wilkesboro who’d always claim a snowstorm was going to have people stranded for weeks with no power?
