Gone back to sleet/ rain mix...I’m guessing this bad boy has closed off - gonna take a little break now & get another thump later tonight with a ULL pivoting on Atlanta?
Its a good thing tomorrow is Saturday because i have a feeling roads will be a nightmare early tomorrow morning.
It changed to sleet here for a while but it looks like it has changed back to light snow.

WSW area is being expanded...
The sun is now getting lower in the sky as we are less than 4 hours from sunset. I imagine it will get easier for snow to accumulate as it gets closer to dark.

Heavy big fat snow. This is from the rich storms from the gulf. Still more to come
I think this may of been a sound from the mill up the street from what a neighbor told me. Oh well can't complain either way. Got over 2 inches on the ground and more on the way. Still in shock it's such a big storm for so early!

Changed to all rain in Atlanta. Got about 2.5 inches while it lasted! Traffic is awful
