Dynamioc cooling actually working for a change. Snow is getting heavier here in Conyers. Super shocked. Models had rain here.

Starting to notice a ton of branches falling off of the trees in my backyard. I really hope the power doesn't go out. 3 kids at home without power is torture!

They are playing now on WBRC 6.2. Fayette and UMS-Wright in the 4A game. I bet the kids are having a ball!

And just like that, the heavy snow is done and it's back to sleet. Very rate dependent here. Still surprised.

My daughter’s school in Atlanta is still going ahead with football practice. In blinding snow. In the south. Then they will turn all those teenagers loose on the snow covered roads. People have lost their GD minds.

Finally got updated from my family in Northwest Georgia. They said it's "coming down pretty good" and they went around some backroads and snow was starting to cover them. Hate that I'm not there, but I need to finish school (for now) and I couldn't have gotten there before sometime today (but my parents chose to not go until tomorrow).

Twc was showing live video of interstate traffic, moving very very slowly with snow pounding. Also reported that some counties in Alabama reporting all roads are impassable. You guys stay safe, and warm.
Mix line is down to 31 miles from my house. Doubt it makes it

that was in the Atlanta area where the interstate is backed up.
If we keep getting heavier precip like we are right now I wouldn't be surprised if the mix line made it into nw and north wake

Reports of sleet in Durham, I've got eyes on sleet and rain just south in Pittsboro. Temps dropped from 39° to 36° here in the last hour and change according to AccuWeather.
