Wonder if they are saying "yeah but right up the street got 37', we really missed out."
And this is why the daily avg T should be computed as the whole day's and and not (maxT+minT)/2Here's a question for anybody. How are the average temps (highs and lows) recorded through the year? With us going into Day Light Savings time, do readings get recorded by the current date/time. An example might happen tonight. Currently the low for RDU is 40. Tonight at midnight the temp might be 40/41. But at 1am the temp could be 39; which would be the new low for the previous (standard time) day.

You would think that this could have a small yearly impact.
But most people are off work in the evening. Rather have light out to enjoy outside after work since I can't during the day. Could care less about having light out when I go to work.Ha you do have a point there. It's light past 9pm here in July. A bit much imo
That’s awfully cold for this time of year. Isn’t your average high near 60 ?If only this were January ?. View attachment 134275One week in December saved this winter from being a complete dumpster fire.

I have a friend in MT and that's how it is there in the summer. I would love that. When I lived up north you could see a little bit of daylight at 10pm.
Yea I use that Flonase stuff and Zyrtec daily (Feb-Apr). It cured my allergies. I can snort pollen off my car and be totally fine.@Broken024
Are your allergies bothering you yet this year? I finally went to an ENT. They got me on this Flonase sensimist. You need to try it if you haven't. This is the first time in years I've gone through this time of year without any sinus pressure and pain at all.
I opened up the passage behind my mouth. I used to take allergy medication every day, it's been years now since i had to. Don't take this as medical advice tho.@Broken024

I definitely went to this ENT because he specializes in balloon sinuplasty. I'm ready if this doesn't work long-term.I opened up the passage behind my mouth. I used to take allergy medication every day, it's been years now since i had to. Don't take this as medical advice tho.
So does @rburrel2We need to weenie emoji back. Nicky really wants one.
Is this one still alive?
We stayed in Idaho last summer and the sun set very late and rose early.I have a friend in MT and that's how it is there in the summer. I would love that.
When I've been out there in summer I didn't mind the late sunset. It's the sun coming up at 4:30 that is annoying. The sun is gonna set around 9:30-9:45 while we’re in Scotland and Ireland in May. That’s gonna throw me off.
