I'm sure you'd get some strange looks from his fellow students. My son’s at UNG Dahlonega. May have to crash in his dorm room - I’m sure he’d love that! ?

The good thing about where you live is the mountains is always a short drive away.I WANT TO SEE SOME DAMN SNOW
I want to see some damn bikinis and sunscreen.I WANT TO SEE SOME DAMN SNOW
Man you ain’t lying. Going on a 7 night Caribbean cruise with the Mrs. next month. ? ?I want to see some damn bikinis and sunscreen.
You will have a NW trend eventually. If Greenville loses out to North Augusta and Aiken, I’ll eat my hat.
January 2011 vibes right there. I’m not sure I could handle a repeat of that disaster.
Anybody outside of the mountains won't know until go time.By this time tomorrow, we'll be less than 3 days away, so I imagine by then we should pretty much know what's going to happen ?
I don't understand why its so difficult to forecast 48-72 hours in advance. In this day and age we should know with almost 100% certainty what will happen in that time range.Anybody outside of the mountains won't know until go time.
You should build your own system for that kind of forecast accuracy. You'll be rich.I don't understand why its so difficult to forecast 48-72 hours in advance. In this day and age we should know with almost 100% certainty what will happen in that time range.
These types of systems will make some peoples winters and break others hearts. So many variables at play with an ULL and this one is more marginal than most we’ve seen in the past. It all depends on where the band of heaviest precip sets up. Even the short range models won’t give us an answer we can feel confident with. This is a nowcasting and radar watching event for those outside the mountains, as long as the low takes a favorable track like the GFS is showing. Trying to temper my hopes but still looking forward to see how it all plays out.Anybody outside of the mountains won't know until go time.
