Hopefully this does not happen. I'd at least like to see a few 65-75 degree days along the way.I’m not expecting any winter storm but I hope those of us east of the apps are ready for days on days of 37-42 degree rain, wind, and fog. I see endless chicken and salmon stews in my future with this expected pattern of cold cold rains. Personally I love them because we get plenty of warmth throughout the year so it’s better to enjoy the cold where you can get it.
What site is that from? Love the colors.
Don't worry you will then you will see 75-85 degree days then 85-95Hopefully this does not happen. I'd at least like to see a few 65-75 degree days along the way.

He's talking about mid-Feb cause Nina toldyousoOh yeah I know. This last summer was not too bad though.
The low 80's are about as high as we go in February I think. March could be another story though. We could also have snow in March. One of our biggest snowstorms was on March 24 1983. Right at a foot hereHe's talking about mid-Feb cause Nina toldyouso
I love sushi! Best I ever had was in Downtown Disney a few days ago, or whatever they call it now. It was at a place called Splitsville, a bowling alley and restaurant in one. And great fish n chips there as well! You eat sushi?
Yeah that does look goodThis one! Crab salad on top, tempura shrimp in middle, cream cheese, dallop of siracha, no cucumbers! ( I don’t like cucumbers) man it was absolutely amazing! View attachment 130910
Man I slammed some sushi yesterday. I despise cucumber. I need Avocado or cream cheese substituted for the cucumber if it’s in the rollThis one! Yeah it doesn't look good. Models have jumped back and forth but the consensus is warm for the next month or so. If CFS is right (..for once) even Webber's thoughts of a cool down at the end of February are in jeopardy.Ready for this winter to end so we'll be out of our misery and hope for better results next year. Hopefully without a ---- La Nina
That really isn't that unusual for KCAE.It isn’t another winter without Columbia SC hitting 80F in jan or Feb View attachment 130942
If only this never ending La Nina would die.If only that low was further south. ?

Well from the looks of the past few GFS runs my original expectation of rain and temps in the 50s is getting more probable. May have picked a really bad weekend to book a place in the mountains. Ensembles still giving me a glimmer of hope, but it’s fading. Might have to root for warm and dry while I’m up there at this point. At least I’d be able to do some hiking and get some use out of the fire pit. Nothings worse than going on vacation and being stuck in the house the whole time because of rain.Obviously taking everything from the long range GFS with a mound of salt at this point. It’ll most likely show a completely different solution at 12z. Ensembles aren’t showing anything close to what the operational is showing storm wise, other than a trend toward a potential favorable pattern.
That being said, I have had a cabin in Little Switzerland booked for February 1-5 since November and the potential has my attention. I have gone from anticipating rain and temps in the 50s to the prospect of getting snowed in, or having to adjust my arrival date so I can even make it up there. Could be an interesting couple weeks seeing how this unfolds.
It will by mid summer. If only this never ending La Nina would die.
That’s some pretty funny pandemic humor. I always did think those arrows were silly.

As long as we’re sharing pandemic humor, my mother was told that the vaccine was the mark of the antichrist. I still haven’t found out who told her that but when I do, someone is going to get a two piece combo from me.
I miss the days when the seasons were normal. Nowadays you don't even know if winter will ever arrive, then when spring gets here winter seems to arrive. Mother nature is confused.
There should be a good amount of sunshine the next couple days. This pattern is depressing, no true cold, no snow, no sun, no dry ground...good grief...
