Misc Stock Market

The dip that keeps on dipping. You can trade these channels easily because you know retail is going to rush in and buy at any sign of support. 1min 5min 10min...they all count

On a serious note, what do your all’s long term investments look like (or are we really YOLOing all of our retirements into OTM calls and straddles)? I recently rolled over my old job’s 401k into my IRA and am debating how to allocate my assets there for the long term. Debating going with a VT/VXUS split as I’m just 29 and so I don’t particularly think I need much, if any, of a bond allocation at this point. I’ve also investigated some “aggressive” strategies like PSLDX and HFEA, though I don’t think I’d feel confident in putting more than some of my funds into those.

Also trying to figure out how much I want to go for US vs. international. I’ve got my current job’s 401k going on, as well, but that’s limited to some specific funds that are available.

I just buy and sell. Buy and sell. With the occasional YOLO play if I’m feeling froggy. I’m trying to flip my account then go into some more long term etf growth plays. Genius strategy I know. I’m sure this is a fail proof plan..This bear market should present some nice opportunity. Big money will flood small caps with the indexes heading down. Seen some big runs already in the last week or two.

All retirement was parked in money market as of January 10th, I’d like to see atleast a 20% correction and ideally 30% before going back in. Otherwise retirement at this stage pegs the SPI. I’ve pulled out a couple times over the years and on average it’s somewhere between 2 to 3 quarters out and I’ve had good success managing those dips.

Brokerage which I really got started last summer is raw materials, commodities and volatility. Still looking for some fertz to load up on, goal for this is short and mid term income via investment, i.e. no more work if we don’t want to.

My roll over IRA is mostly spy and qqq with some bond exposure and some random ---- I buy occasionally. Nice thing about spy and qqq is you can sell otm calls against it for "free money"... pretty easy to get 3% annual return just from the premiums (you can always roll out further if it gets close to assignment).

I'm at least 25 years from retirement so I'm not too concerned about temporary downtrend.

They really need to limit politicians to broad market etfs along with restrictions on how often they can buy sell. I'm fine with them investing but this kind of ---- is ridiculous.
They actually need to create a politician ETF, consisting of real-time up to date political holdings so we can buy what they're buying. That way we can all get rich.

Weekly RSI almost to the covid crash level. Really feel like once we get through next week a big rally is coming…assuming no WW3.

My retirement account is mostly in MVIS. Been holding since $25. It's got to come back, right?
It will be well above that one day I'm still holding with a pps of $2.45 in my main TD account but have averaged down to $12 in my smaller webull account. As soon as they secure an OEM or two with their LiDAR and considering the massive short interest, it will moon.

They wont crash the market all in one or two days. They will give us green days here and there, but the 10 day MA will continue to slope down and to the right.

DAX is up 5%. Asia red.

Our clown show market is up big, it rallies 2-3% if someone clears there throat. Was a bearish candle yesterday so shorts are trapped.

QQQ, 3rd lowest weekly RSI since the financial crisis and it's very close to being #2. I imagine many are hoping for a big rally post Fed, quad witching next week so will be interesting.
