Dodgers Get Big Boost As Braves Make Chris Sale Decision

The Atlanta Braves will not start Cy Young-winning pitcher Chris Sale for Game 2 of the NLDS against the Los Angeles Dodgers on Sunday.

In his stead, left-hander Ray Kerr, who started Game 3 of the Wild Card Series for the Braves, will make the start for the Braves.

Tbh I think it's a good decision for the Braves. Think about it, they were only a swing or 2 away from taking game one, even with Skubal having a solid 6 2/3. I think they can steal game 2 and then have a fully rested Sale and they are in the driver's seat. If Sale goes today and he's not fully rested, they lose and then their in a bad spot.

Well. Let's hope Ray Kerr is as good tonight as he was on Thursday. The Braves will have all of their best high leverage bullpen arms at their disposal to relieve Kerr. Should they win tonight, it would flip the series in their favor as the next 2 games are back-to-back night games at Truist with Sale starting and then Mahle starting.

Yep. If Dodgers lose tonight they go down in 4, even if Yamamoto has a great game in game 3. For some reason Dodgers offense fails Yoshi 90% of the time
