They'll break the all time record soon with that sensor and it will forever be in the record books. It should have an asterisk beside when they do

I understand the argument behind using another sensor, but I assume they continue using it with data continuity in mind when comparing to historical data (which I also understand). Same for the ATL sensor.

I was out on hwy 64 going from Cary to Pittsboro. Constantly 96-98 degrees on car thermometer. Took the back roads past Jordan Lake to Pittsboro (Beaver Creek Rd, Pea Ridge Rd, to Hanks Chapel Rd) and it was in the 86-88 degree range on those roads. With the top and doors off the Jeep, you could feel the cool air. Amazing what trees and shade can do!!!! Loved it!!! 😍

I can’t buy a bite here surf fishing at the OBX. Water is plain cold. Anybody know how to rig your rod for Arctic Narwhal? I guess I’ll just keep drinking
Amazing how location makes such a big difference. I was at Cherry Grove the last week of May and it felt like bathwater. Enjoy the ocean buddy!!!

Well, another busted forecast with regards to storms here. Level 2 risk and 80% chance of a watch turned into no watch and hardly any storms.

I need some help. What’s the best BBQ restaurant close to Chapel Hill??

I know a lot of y'all travel a good bit so I've got a rental car question. Is there a rental car company out there that you absolutely would avoid? We're heading out west end of this month for 9 days, I've booked a rental but cancelled twice due to change in dates but now I'm seeing some less expensive alternatives popping up in my search but I'm not familiar with all of them. Any thoughts?

You should go with hertz or rent a wreck

I'd never do that but I've never rented a car on my own so I'm probably not the best for advice
Lol thanks for the "help". I've been looking at SixT, they are way cheaper than any other rental and after reading hours of reviews I believe they legitimately are "rent a wreck". Horror stories with that one. Rentals are expensive, geez
