Hard to beat watching reds turn into blues. Thats how the radar looked in Jan2000 around here to start.
I don’t have access to the ICON... what do dewpoints look like in that frame?
Looks like weather models don’t have dew points for the icon, dang it
Don’t know if it’ll be enough but GFS is trending better with our SE Canada vortex, more confluence this run, do wanna see more GL ridging however

The Canadian says OKC gets more snow on Tuesday from the second system. Models are printing out snow for them like they are Minneapolis!

Gefs doesn’t look good based off precip maps but it’s looking slightly better at H5/mslp

Watch the trend of shearing the initial wave in the OV and loading more vorticity in the western part of the trough.
UKMET was very close to some light ice as well, also holds back a second peice of energy

I'm supposed to work Sunday and I go to Colorado in a month but I'm still sitting here wondering if I should chase lol it's much closer than the storm last week that's for sure...

My issue is the last time I chased up by the falls last winter it snowed about 1/3 what the models said due to stupid sleet and temps are gonna be so borderline here too but dang it this map looks good lol

If the euro verifies around OKC with almost 7 inches of snow on Sunday that would be their 3rd biggest single day snowfall in the past 20 years and a top 10 single day snowfall in the past 50 years. Lol
