Euro was just a slightly stronger high pressure away from big ice, unfortunately that’s probably what’s favored with that look with this given the more northern track of the amped up shortwave

We don’t live in a region where things tend to trend favorably. Typically we get a strong signal, it may fade before it comes back but we have a sense about it. The surprise event is rare outside of a flizzard.
The MA and NE can go from nothing to something in 24 hours.

Yeah, an -AO/-NAO is really all they need. They and likely the MA are going to cash in over and over as long as that's around as we head deeper into winter IMO.
If it hangs around, it'll be our turn eventually. Keep hope alive!

Yep I would rather have king euro/cad-knowledge on my side vs gfs/logan. You could easily see this coming with storm after storm plowing our source of cad region (Pennsylvania).
