That gefs look would be fun.If we do get a -EPO the right time and way without trying to bring back the SER, and get the TPV in our backyard, man that could be some serious cold
Looks like a December to Remember. The question is for how weeks will the pattern be two weeks away? The CMC is on team GEFS.

That looks like it would suck! 10s/0’s highs for me!? No thank you pleaseWe know the hour 384 gfs sucks and is a meme, but it sorta matches what the gefs shows regarding the TPV, at this point it’s fun to look at View attachment 54175View attachment 54176
Man if member 1 was to verify I’m definitely snow chasing down southCheck out these incoming monsters on members 1,6,19... only 384 hours to go boys

Lol and you thought you hated cold and dry down here when highs were in the 30s-40s without snowThat looks like it would suck! 10s/0’s highs for me!? No thank you please
I fear it's just the gfs doing what the gfs does. That said though the models want to send up another round of Ural ridging in the D7-10 and the tpv gets lobed into siberia. Maybe if we get lucky all the cards fall our wayWe know the hour 384 gfs sucks and is a meme, but it sorta matches what the gefs shows regarding the TPV, at this point it’s fun to look at View attachment 54175View attachment 54176
The few caveats we will have to contend with as the pattern switches to -EPO is its early in the season when the volumetric snow and ice in the northern hemisphere is relatively low, background sea surface temps in the NH are at their highest for the entire winter, and the preceding extremely warm spell across most of Canada may sap many of these areas of snow cover, thus any incoming air masses may modify more quickly upon arrival here and we may need to see this pattern persist for a little while to fully suit our fancy & rebuild the snow pack in N AmericaWe know the hour 384 gfs sucks and is a meme, but it sorta matches what the gefs shows regarding the TPV, at this point it’s fun to look at View attachment 54175View attachment 54176
Lol I just corrected my post I meant member 1I'm more focused on member #1!
You live in freaking Montana. Why would you travel 1,500+ miles to chase a southern snowstorm ?Man if member 1 was to verify I’m definitely snow chasing down south
I don’t know what I’ll do if I came close to seeing highs that freaking low hell im in Montana and I barely can get through these temps with the winds everyday lol I wonder what kind of extra gear I would needThat looks like it would suck! 10s/0’s highs for me!? No thank you please
