That backend upper level low snow would be high ratio stuff. Those temperatures are in the 20s

That ULL is what has my attention for my area. It has been very consistent on the GFS and CMC the last 6 runs or so.
I will take it.

GFS really keeping up with that anomalous bowling ball rolling through the TN valley. It actually taps into the warm gulf moisture compared to the 12z run. Still, really strange.

It seems to me like the good snows seem to be the ones that kinda pop up out of nowhere. The ones that are on the models 7-10 days out seem to never materialize.

We will make our own cold air.
