DFW observed a high of 79*F today (without a cloud in the sky, I might add), which actually tied the record high set back in 1906.

GFS has more precip breaking out this run.
If this was hitting in January, this would've been a Big Dog storm.

This is going to do absolutely nothing unless we see models trending towards more digging/separation. Unlikely, but not impossible. Better tilt on the GFS though.

Less than ideal trend here on the GFS for Carolina folks. WNC still with a decent shot imo.

Yeah. Verbatim that would be hwy 11 through the upstate which has really become the new I85 when it comes to frozen around here. Just a tick or two from looking pretty good or nothing all for many.
The energy for the 2nd system is digging more this run. 
Don’t know how I feel about this run 
Cold air right on the heels of that system. If you could slow the flow down and get it to really bomb then you would get a big snowstorm west of the mountains. Would put TN, MS, AL in play.

Big warm nose there from 850 to 700. That's a no go. Very typical east of the mtns though.How in the balls would this be rain
The main wave that gives us the precip gets stuck up over the Atlantic. I highly doubt this brings us anything.
