The last BN Oct for Chattanooga was 2012.. I sure do miss when October was actually an Autumn month. We could actually see a 70 degree low coming up.. The warmest low for all of Sept '17 was 69.

No. No. And no. Give me a cold holiday season followed by more cold until March with only a few warm ups to the low 60s at most. And everyone a snowstorm too.
Thr climate is definitely changing. I no longer consider October a fall month and i dont consider December a winter month. Its getting to the point where we almost have one season, maybe two. Starting to feel more and more like Florida.

It actually hit 49 here in early Sept and not sure it will get below 50 in Oct !

Been below 50 about 3 or 4 times since September here. I am sure we will be below 40 before the end of the month at least once.

They need to just up the normal high/low 10 degrees every month so we can have below normal temps for a change. instead of using 30 year anomalies,use 3 year anomalies.

Even as is, an 85 average is sadly not far off from my normal average...
It might get higher than that this coming week and after that is still to be determined where things go to be honest.
