GDPS does look better as well. Maybe there’s hope. Worst case scenario for the mountains right now is a drier, windy front

06Z looks better today (at least for middle/north AL/GA. At least on this run, our friends in South GA and upper FL unfortunately aren't looking to benefit from this.
It's starting to show on the NAM32k and has a similar look/trajectory.

The 12z GFS is coming in drier for many of us. Under .25 in upstate SC and little to nothing for much of NC. North Al and NW Georgia basically dry too.

Looking very nice on most all short range models for most of Alabama to get the dust knocked down. Should help with all the winter plantings as well.

That does look nice. Hopefully the 18z run still has it later today. I'm hoping NC can get in on it too, especially the mountains.

Ohhhhhhh yeaahhhhhh!
Literally anything will be helpful for areas that are in scope. May this be the opening salvo for more wet weather, especially areas south of us in South GA and North FL.
