Should end up with a storm total (JACKPOT) of 8-12 inches over northern Coastal Plain by tonight.

WPC QPF has generally been followed and forecast, which closely
resembles 00Z HREF mean values; and this would support an additional
2 to 5 inches of rain over cntl NC, with the highest values from the
srn Piedmont newd across the Sandhills and Coastal Plain. When
combined with the several inches that have already fallen from near
FAY newd to RWI, including over 6.5" storm total already at the
latter, isolated storm total amounts of 8-12" will be possible.

Lol, when you have 2"+ PWATs & a stalled front, you don't forecast 2-4" of rain, because you could easily get that in just a few hours. Dramatic change in their forecast from even late yesterday

I know it floods around the track pretty bad if a lot of QPF falls in a short window. How is that area holding up?
