Yeah, I’m issuing a winter weather watch for areas around I-85 and north for extreme cold per this CMC run since it’s the best model out there

+ Canada Atlantic oscillation, I love my blocks in Canada ! So realistic ! 
This is what we need, we need that SS wave around where that red X is, and need that NS trough where that blue line is, which would supply us with CAA before the wave would even arrive, that’s becoming more and more unlikely, but there’s still a little bit of time, however its very unlikely it trends that way

So wait the CMC isn't completely on crack? Or are they both? A high of freezing here in December?
This is the second straight run the euro has had highs like this
These soundings have tons of shear, given that there is some cape with this is concerning given globals don’t handle cape well

240 hr Euro looks like it’s headed for something with a wave emerging out of the southern Rockies behind the monster trough in the east
Kinda hope that trough in the East can shift north a bit for that second wave

It would be absolutely wild if Atlanta’s first freeze of the season occurred the same day they had below freezing highs ?
I was actually thinking this the other day, it wouldn't surprise me at all if Atlanta hits freezing one afternoon with falling temperatures. ?

Eps showing a wave emerging out of the southern Rockies by day 10-11, gotta hope it comes out a bit sooner or the monster trough at day 8-9 holds on a little more.

Wow lol the southern jet on the Euro control is absurd... How many times have you seen a 150 kt jet streak over the Gulf coast in winter?
