Pattern Microwave March

Could it possibly be :D

That below normal temp area could be a result of a sharp cold front that the GFS and Euro have been hinting at towards the middle and end of next week (although the GEFS is much less bullish on this than the op). Its too early to say for sure, but severe weather could be a possibility with that (by the current looks) for the lower and mid Mississippi Valley areas

Wow. I see someone tweeted some light snow flurries are coming down in Kennesaw Ga right now. I am not far. I am gonna go outside and check.

Not saying it's a silver lining or anything buuuuuuuuuut with big systems like this, we've seen plenty of times in which light snow either pops up as convection by chance or wraps around behind the system.

Getting some flakes falling here now temps have been in the 37-38 range all afternoon..down to 34.1 now and falling fast. Winds haven't been bad at all until the past hour. Brrr!

Loving the dreariness! That's what winter is about. We've had so little so far this winter. 48 and rain here.
I am so on board with this sentiment!! Yesterday and today were two of the best days of this two month stretch of fall. I just had to go redo the outdoor faucet, and I'm contemplating whether to drip the faucets, or not. Got to put some sheets on the blueberry buds, and put on some gloves, cook me up some brown rice, and look for snow flakes! You just can't get this busy when it's hot like it has been. My batteries run down when it's sunny and hot. This is near perfection! The only time it should be clear is when it's after midnight, 22 and falling and there is 4 inches of sleet on the ground, lol. Damn, I am so pumped for winter, and I have spring to look forward to instead. It's so unfair to the old crazy guy :)

I think the real killing frost is yet to come. The Master's better be on alert. We used to play our club croquet tourney on the coldest day of the winter, but croquet players are tough by nature, and those golfers don't do too well when it's in the low twenties, lol. We had one of our first ones in Hilton Head , where they had a real court, at night, when it was 20 falling thru 18, lol. The wind off the ocean added some spice to the mix. After that we had 'em during the day when 23 just feels like 23 :) We are tough but we ain't stupid. T

NWS is calling for 27º in town here tomorrow night; outlying areas are showing 23º on some unofficial forecasts - could it be

Just small dot flakes right? All I have seen today. Also it looks like a nice flurry band for down there.

Yeah they are small for the most part but the past half hour they have gotten heavier for sure. A little stickage on the deck, grill, etc.

That's pretty dang cold for Mid March in Florida.

That's the kind of thing that the coldest March 850's overall in 15-19 years in the SE will do. He will be flirting with the coldest so late in the season. He will obliterate the 32 3/16 daily record low. Here, too, there will be a chance for the coldest so late.

By the way, this March is trying to behave somewhat like March of 1932 and March of 1890, both of which followed two of the three warmest winters in Atlanta and many areas.

With the way it is with how the plants have bloomed, this hard freeze that is coming might threaten April 2007 (I did say might). My dad told me the only time we did not have blueberries was thanks to the 2007 late hard freeze and that the bushes are almost finished blooming and are berries (which actually might be worse).

He hopes that the fact that they're not facing the north thanks to them being straight behind the house will save them.

And well, if the berries do survive it sounds like we might have blueberries in late April. Just crazy. The berries might die but if they don't they're going to be ready at least a month early.
