Pattern Microwave March

Too bad the sun angle and ground temps will limit snow amounts. Hope and pray that it snows at night or early morning !
 
12z Euro will be a better run than the 0Z it appears to me.

Well, early on it is colder in the NE but now I'm not so sure it will be better on later maps. Let's see.

Well, at least we're not pulling for a NW trend for a change. Of course, we have seen the models show storms to our north this far out, then bring them a lot further south, only to adjust NW right before it hits.
 
the 12Z Euro is much warmer in the 7-10 vs the 0Z run.
 
The only area that I have enough confidence in to say there's a legitimate shot of wintry weather with this storm are the mountains of Virginia and West Virginia, everyone else needs to sit & wait, but there's a pretty big ceiling on the northward progress of this storm w/ a big vortex sitting over southeast Canada and the Great Lakes.
 
Yep, I'll be in Kentucky this weekend if the trend continues.
