Not a single rumble of thunder today, although got some moderate rain this morning and now some convective showers.

That line died a slow miserable death to my west and now just some spotty light showers here and there..... looks like I will fall well short of .25 for the event. And to be honest I'm probably the only one not complaining about the lack of rain, with all the water issues I've dealt with lately I'll gladly take drought over too much rain any day.

Lot of hail reports with that storm rolling through Wake County. Some strong winds too, almost looks like it may have a little rotation but since KRAX is down using KAKQ and it's a long way from the storm so rotation if any should be aloft.

That was intense rotation passed right by me! The sound was rather intense , the wind, everything !
New cell to just to the west looks to impact downtown Raleigh in 20 minutes or so. I'll issue a report shortly.

For some reason the past few years Wake County has had more severe storms when we're not under a watch than when we are.

Slacked off for a minute but there was some pea sized hail falling with the rain. Gusty winds.
Per Nash Co. Sheriff's Dept funnel cloud reported in Nash county, no warning currently with this cell but it does look impressive still
