Just left Tampa for Birmingham and we've got advisories up here 550 miles away
its looking that way. She would need to wobble a good NW for a few to not make landfall. recon suggest a bend to the NW right now

Bright banding on the NE wall happening now
It does look like there has been a NW wobble. Regardless, I'm afraid SW FL is going to end up with a horrible pounding. This is looking very scary for them. Naples is easily looking at its biggest hit since Andrew. And this is a much larger storm than Andrew.

Thats what im thinking. Sure it may indeed hit land but maybe barley. Other wise i think its gonna ride the coast

As expected due to the 0Z Euro being too far west this morning, the 12Z Euro is shifting back east a bit and is now just inland of the Tampa area instead of just offshore after going over the Naples-Ft Myers corridor.

Seeing much stronger couplets in this one than we did Harvey. That band coming into the Space Coast looks really hairy.
